American Forces Network

The United States Armed Forces Radio and Television Service is called American Forces Network (AFN).[1] AFN broadcasts radio and television to American soldiers, sailors, airmen, Department of Defense and other US government civilians and their families stationed outside of the U.S. and on U.S. Navy ships.[2] AFN broadcasts popular American radio and television programs from U.S. networks. It is sometimes called the Armed Forces Network. AFRTS, American Forces Network and AFN are registered trademarks of the U.S. Department of Defense.
