Andrew Desjardins

Andrew Desjardins (born July 27, 1986) is a Canadian ice hockey centre. He currently plays for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has also played for the San Jose Sharks.

Career

Before playing in the NHL, Desjardins played 4 seasons Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He turned professional and played 1 seasons with the Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League (CHL). He then played 5 games with the Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL.

On June 26, 2010, the San Jose Sharks signed Desjardins as a free agent.[1] He played parts of 5 years with the San Jose Sharks.

On March 2, 2015, the Sharks traded Desjardins to the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for Ben Smith.[2]
