Plot

This movie is based on the real-life experiences of Dave Fishwick. It tells the story of a Burnley working class and self-made millionaire, where a Burnley worker struggles to set up a community bank to help Burnley's local businesses. Here Burnley will not only survive but thrive. To help the beloved Burnley community, he must battle London's elite financial institutions and compete for the first banking license in over 100 years.

Production

After Netflix acquired the film rights of Bank of Dave, Piers Ashworth start writing and Chris Foggin directing the film under the productions companies Tempo Productions Limited, Future Artists Entertainment, Ingenious Media and Rojovid Films,[1] which was started pre-production on January 8, 2022, filming on February 28, 2022. Post-production started on April 18, 2022 and ended on September 27, 2022. The movies work completed on December 22, 2022.
