Beheira Governorate

Beheira Governorate is a governorate in Egypt. The capital is Damanhur.

In 2017, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sissi appointed the first female governor in the country's history, Nadia Abdo, for Beheira's Governorate.[3]
