"Eight Miles High" is a 1966 song by The Byrds and was taken from their third studio album Fifth Dimension. It went to number 14 in the United States and number 24 in the United Kingdom. The song was subjected to a US radio ban shortly after its release following drug content use. It has been covered by many artists since its release.
