Deutsch: Das Wappen wurde der Gemeinde am 7. Mai 1987 durch Erlass der Exekutive der Deutschsprachigen Gemeinschaft verliehen.
Es ist abgeleitet vom Wappen der Herren von Rolshausen und symbolisiert gleichzeitig den früheren Torfabbau in der Gemeinde.
English: The arms were officially granted on May 7, 1987. The two spades in the arms refer to the former very important peat mining and trading in the area.
