ADN-ZB Ludwig-19.8.85-se-Bez. Erfurt-Literarische Entdeckung In einer Handschrift des 15. Jahrhunderts, die zu den Schätzen der Forschungsbibliothek Gotha gehört, wurde jetzt ein verschollenes Gedicht des italienischen Dichters und Humanisten Francesco Petrarca (1304 - 1374) entdeckt. Bisher waren nur 2 Verse bekannt, die Petrarca in seiner Rede anläßlich seiner Krönung zum Dichter am 8. April 1341 auf dem Kapitol in Rom zitiert hatte. Die Papierhandschrift aus dem 15. Jahrhundert enthält das vollständige Gedicht mit 142 Versen. Diese Entdeckung machte der italienische Wissenschaftler Prof. Dr. Michele Feo. (s. auch 16 - 18N) |
