Summary

Description The coat of arms of Egypt within the Federation of Arab Republics from 1972-1977, which also continued as the coat of arms of Egypt after the dissolution of the Federation of Arab Republics until ca. 1984. This emblem consists of the general coat of arms of the Federation (see File:Coat_of_arms_of_the_Federation_of_Arab_Republics.svg) with the additional inscription جمهورية مصر العربية (Jumhuriyat Misr al-`Arabiya or "Arab Republic of Egypt") at the bottom.
