Deutsch: Pfaffenweiler und das dazugehörige Ohlinsweiler gehörten seit dem 13. Jahrhundert zur Herrschaft der Freiherren von Staufen und nach 1602 zur österreichischen Kameralherrschaft Staufen, die 1806 an Baden fiel. Aus österreichischer Zeit ist keine Siegelführung der Gemeinde bekannt. Die Huldigungsliste von 1811 ist mit einem Siegel unterfertigt, das unter einem Fürstenhut die Initialen PF des Ortsnamens und die drei Kelche aus dem Wappen der Freiherren von Staufen zeigt. Die Kelche finden sich - allerdings ohne Deckel und zumeist im Wappenschild - in den Gemeindesiegeln des 19. und 20. Jahrhunderts. Entsprechend wurde das farbige Wappen im Jahre 1900 gestaltet. Seit 1960 werden die Kelche wie im Wappen der Herren von Staufen mit Deckeln abgebildet. |
