Object history
Deutsch: Das Wappen ist von einem Dorfgerichtssiegel abgeleitet, das durch Abdruck seit 1642 belegt ist und den für den Ortsnamen redenden Brunnen zeigt. Die Farben Rot und Silber sind die Farben Frankens. Aus den Jahren 1599 bis 1600 sind auch Abrucke eines anderen Siegels überliefert. Im Schild stehen hier ein sechsstrahliger Stern sowie die beiden Großbuchstachen V und N. Hierbei handelt es sich allerdings nicht um ein Gerichts- oder Gemeindesiegel, sondern um das persönliche Siegel des Schultheiß Veit Neumann.
