Summary

Description
English: A geographically accurate map of the Tyne and Wear Metro, constructed from GPS traces and underground surveys. Refined with reference to the UK Environment Agency's LIDAR dataset, available under the UK's Open Government License.

The accuracy of this map is ~1M, and includes non-service lines such as the South Gosforth depot, the temporary Howdon depot, and the Manors link line. The colours indicate the service running on each line as follows: Green - South Hylton to Airport/Airport to South Hylton Yellow - South Shields to St James/St James to South Shields Black - Line shared by all services, including shorter peak services between Pelaw/Monkseaton/Regent Centre

Grey - Non-service lines, including depots, crossovers, and sidings.
