Summary

Description Part three of a five part series of now destroyed paintings. The motiv is unknown, based upon the costumes the images must have been made in the 1540's. OBS! These images are much debated and there is no proof that this particular painting depicts Västerås riksdag 1527.
Date
Source The original painting was soon lost. The image depicts a watercolor reproduction made 1722 by J. Wendelius, when the originals were still kept at Gripsholm castle. The watercolor reproductions are kept at the Royal library, Stockholm.
