Obverse : Head of Africa right, wearing elephant's skin; jug with handle to left on left; lituus on right; MAGNVS downwards behind. Laurel-wreath as border.

Reverse : Pompey in triumphal quadriga right, holding branch in right hand; rider (Gnaeus Pompey) on near horse; flying Pompey in triumphal quadriga right, holding branch in right hand; rider (Gnaeus Pompey) on near horse; flying Victory with wreath above; PRO COS in exergue.

Die-axis: 8 o'clock

Weight: 8.94 grammes
