Summary
| Description | The Mississippi Democratic Club meets the second Saturday every month at the Municipal Art Gallery in Jackson. The September meeting focused on the upcoming Congressional elections. Three of the four districts in the state were represented at today's meeting: Appollos Baker for the Childers campaign in District 1, Congressman Bennie Thompson for District 2, and candidate Joel Gill for District 3. (Those are not the three people in this picture. Congressman Thompson is indeed in the picture -- on the left. The other two people were attending today's meeting as interested Mississippians.) |
