বাংলা: ২রা মার্চ ১৯৭১ সালে এই স্থানেই প্রথম স্বাধীন বাংলাদেশের পতাকা উত্তোলন করা হয়। নিচু ছাদটি ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কলা ভবনের অংশ। ডাকসু পাতাকা উত্তোলনের ঘটনাটি স্মরণীয় করে রাখতে সেখানে একটি পাতের উপর দিনটির কথা লিখে রেখেছে। ২০১২ সালের মার্চ মাসে স্থানটিতে সংগ্রামী চেতনা নামের একটি ম্যুরাল স্থাপন করা হয় সেই দিনটির স্মরণে। English: On 2 March 1971, the flag of Bangladesh was raised for first time in this place. This rooftop is the part of Arts building, University of Dhaka. DUCSU has placed a memorial plate to commemorate that event. In March, 2012 a mural titled Shangrami Chetona has been placed there to commemorate that glorious day. |
