English: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Cloke's Corner The statue was erected in 2001 and sculpted by David Cornell. Conan Doyle is Crowborough's most famous resident having lived in the town from 1907 until his death in 1930. He faces towards Rotherfield as this was his favourite view.
