Summary

Description
English: The seal depicts 24 lb cannons typical of USS Constitution's armaments when she was built atop red, white and blue bunting, which is draped on a shield with red and white stripes representing the states. On the sides of the shield are six white stars, representing the six original frigates of the united states Navy. The four sword, clockwise from upper left, are the Saber, Mameluke Sword, Marine NCO saber, and Cutlass, representing the armaments of Constitution's crew during the campaign against the Barbary Pirates. Below the shield is a scroll that reads "Undefeated", noting that Constitution was never defeated in a combat action. Atop the cannons is perched a Bald Eagle, the symbol of the United States. In the background is a sail, representing the ship herself. On the sail are the words "We The People", which are the opening three words to the preamble of the United States Constitution.
