Description The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CV-6) being towed to the New York Naval Shipyard. After her second "Magic Carpet" trip Enterprise entered the New York Naval Shipyard on 18 January 1946 for deactivation, and was decommissioned on 17 February 1947.
