Description
English: Portrait of Uesugi Kenshin (1530-1578). He was a feudal lord (daimyo) of Echigo Province. It is said that this portrait was originally located at Rinsen-ji Temple (林泉寺) in Nakamonzen, Joetsu, Niigata Prefecture. Note: this is a close-up of a large portrait which has text above.
