Deutsch: Der Buchenzweig mit Blättern und Bucheckern redet für den Gemeindenamen. Die formale Grundlage des Wappens bildet das Wappen der seit dem 10. Jahrhundert belegten ortsadligen Familie von Buch (de Povcha) bzw. Pucher, in Schwarz ein rechtes Obereck. Dieses Adelsgeschlecht hatte seinen Sitz bis Anfang des 15. Jahrhunderts in Buch am Buchrain. Der Ort ist erstmals im 8. Jahrhundert in Freisinger Urkunden nachweisbar. Der Stierkopf stammt aus dem Wappen der Familie von Sandizell und erinnert daran, dass ein Pfarrer von Buch, Domherr Moritz von Sandizell, im 16. Jahrhundert zum Bischof von Freising aufstieg. Der Stierkopf verweist zugleich auf die landwirtschaftliche Struktur der Gemeinde. |
