Hans Küng

Hans Küng (German: [ˈhans ˈkʏŋ]; 19 March 1928 – 6 April 2021) was a Swiss Catholic priest, theologian, and author. From 1995 he was president of the Foundation for a Global Ethic (Stiftung Weltethos).

Küng became a priest in 1954, joined the faculty of the University of Tübingen in 1960, and was a theological adviser during the Second Vatican Council. He remained a Catholic priest until his death.
