J. Martin Hunter

J. Martin Hunter (1937 – 9 October 2021) was a British lawyer specializing in arbitration. He was an emeritus professor at Nottingham Trent University.[1]

Education

Hunter attended The Pilgrims' School, Winchester, then the Shrewsbury School. He attended National Military Service, then studied at Pembroke College, Cambridge. He holds bachelor of arts (Law) from the University of Cambridge.[2]

Career

Hunter was an articled clerk at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. After studied at the College of Law, London, he became an associate at Freshfields and a partner. He also became a member of the International Bar Association in 1967.[2][3]

Death

Martin died on 9 October 2021 at the age of 84.[4]
