Massacres at the concentration camp at Botn

Massacres happened at the concentration camp at Botn - in Norway's Nordland county, during World War Two.

According to the Yugoslav War Crimes Commission, 73 prisoners were executed by shots from small arms, on 26 November 1942.

The next massacre of sick prisoners took place in January 1943. The War Crimes Commission found out, that 50 people were executed on 23 January. Norwegian guards were present at the massacre, and the German crews carried out the executions.[1]
