Sister Nancy
Ophlin Russell (born on January 2, 1962), better known as Sister Nancy (or Muma Nancy), is a Jamaican dancehall DJ and singer. She is best known to the world as the first female dancehall DJ and described as being a "dominating female voice for over two decades" on the dancehall scene.[1] One of her most famous songs is Bam Bam, which is labeled as a "well-known reggae anthem" by BBC and a "classic" by The Observer.[2][3]
