Star Trek Into Darkness

Star Trek Into Darkness is a 2013 American science fiction action movie.[4] The movie was directed by J. J. Abrams. It was Leonard Nimoy's last movie appearance before his death in 2015. Set in the 23rd century, the movie follows Captain James T. Kirk and the crew of USS Enterprise as they are sent to the Klingon homeworld seeking a former Starfleet member-turned-terrorist, Khan Noonien Singh.

It is the second Star Trek movie that features the supervillain Khan Noonien Singh, since the 1982 movie Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, who originally appeared in the first season of the Star Trek: The Original Series.
