The Postman Always Rings Twice is a 1946 American crime thriller movie directed by Tay Garnett and is the third adaption of the 1934 novel of the same name by John M. Cain. It stars Lara Turner, John Garfield, Cecil Kellaway, Hume Cronyn, Leon Ames, Audrey Totter, Alan Reed, Jeff York and was distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
