TikTok
TikTok is a online video sharing social networking service. It lets people create short music and lip-sync videos of 3 to 15 seconds[5][6] and short looping videos of 3 to 60 seconds. They can post anything from life hacks to dances or even recipes. It is popular in Canada, the United States, and other parts of the world.[7] It was first released under the name of musical.ly but was later bought out and renamed TikTok.

TikTok was created by ByteDance. It was released in September 2016 and was the most downloaded app in the United States in October 2018.
On 29 June 2020, the India decided to ban 59 Apps including TikTok.[8] A month later on 31 July 2020, President Donald Trump announced a possible ban of the app.[9] Then, on 18 September 2020, the Trump administration announced that the app would be removed from U.S. app stores on 12 November 2020, unless ByteDance can assure the Trump administration that the app does not pose a threat to U.S. security.[10]
