Titan (company)

Titan Company Limited is an Indian subsidiary company. They manufacture fashion accessories such as jewellery, watches and eyewear. It is a part of the Tata Group. Their headquarters is at Electronic City in Bangalore, Karnataka[1] and it has a registered office in Tamil Nadu.[2]

Titan company started its operations in 1984 under the name Titan Watches Limited. In 1994, Titan focused into jewellery with Tanishq and later into eyewear with Titan Eyeplus. In 2005, it launched its youth fashion accessories brand named Fastrack.[3] The company is the largest branded jewellery maker in India.[4] As of 2022, Titan has a 6% market share in India's jewellery market.[5] As of 2019, it is also the fifth-largest watch manufacturer in the world.[6]
