Umberto Borsò

Umberto Borsò (3 April 1923 – 26 November 2018) was an Italian operatic tenor. He was born in La Spezia, Italy.

In 1953 and 1954, he performed in the role of Aio in the premiere of Medea by Pietro Canonica conducted by Ottavio Ziino with Maria Pedrini at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome. He also replaced Mario Del Monaco in Andrea Chénier starring aloside with Renata Tebaldi in 1953.

Borsò died on 26 November 2018 in Rome at the age of 95.[1]
