2010-03-06 05:17 Snow storm in Eastern Asia 1714×1146× (3673838 bytes) (I took the picutre of this Class 156 my self at Romiley Junction station, near Manchester in the year 2001. I hear by release it in to the public domain. )
This is not from 'Romiley Junction' it is taken from the Liverpool bound platform at Huyton Station. The train is a Blackpool North service and will use the left junction towards Wigan when it leaves the station. The features that show it is Huyton are the shelter just visable over the rear of the train (now demolished), the wall just visable through the trees (the remains of the old platform buildings on the 2, now unused, platforms) and the shadows on the platform and the train showing the car park railings and station building respectively.
