Deutsch: Das vom Heraldiker Wolfgang Pagenstecher entworfene Haaner Wappen ist ein „redendes“ Wappen, wenngleich der Ortsname von Hain oder Hagen (geschützter Platz) abzuleiten ist. Der Bergische Kräher soll auch den Charakter des bergischen Landes kennzeichnen.
