Deutsch: Der seit dem 16. Jahrhundert endgültig fürstenbergische Ort, der dem Obervogteiamt Haslach unterstellt war und 1806 unter badische Landeshoheit kam, führte nachweislich seit 1685 eigene Siegel. Schon das älteste Typar von Vogt und Gericht zeigte in einem vom fürstenbergischen Wolkenschnitt umkränzten Rundschild eine eintürmige Kirche. Während einzig das Siegelbild des frühen 18. Jahrhunderts aus einem Haus besteht, enthalten die Siegel des 19. Jahrhunderts wieder die Kirche mit linksstehendem Turm. Dieses Motiv legte man dem im Jahre 1905 vom Generallandesarchiv entworfenen und von der Gemeinde angenommenen Wappen zugrunde. In der Folge aufgetretene Unstimmigkeiten der Wappenzeichnung und Unklarheiten der Tingierung der Kirche wurden 1962 ausgeräumt und daraufhin das Wappen, in dem die Kirche das Aussehen der Pfarrkirche Hofstettens erhielt, am 19. Februar 1963 vom Innenministerium verliehen. |
