Deutsch: Das Oggelshauser Wäldchen war bis in die siebziger Jahre hinein eines der letzten Refugien des Birkwilds in Südwestdeutschland. Vor dem Zweiten Weltkrieg konnte man dort im Frühjahr noch balzende Birkhähne beobachten. Auf diese inzwischen abgegangene zoologische Besonderheit bezieht sich das Wappen, das die Gemeinde im Jahre 1930 festgelegt hat. Das Landratsamt Biberach hat die Flagge am 5. Mai 1983 verliehen. |
