Deutsch: Der Name der 1974 aus Greffern, Schwarzach, Söllingen und Stollhofen gebildeten Gemeinde verdeutlicht ihre geographische Lage und weist auf die romanische Klosterkirche der im 8. Jahrhundert gegründeten und 1803 aufgelösten Abtei Schwarzach hin. Die schräggekreuzten Schlüssel und Schwert waren als Attribute der Hauptpatrone des Klosters, Petrus und Paulus, allein oder in Verbindung mit einem Krummstab die Bilder des Klosterwappens. Da alle Ortsteile einst zum Kloster in engen Beziehungen standen, wurde dieses Motiv in das Gemeindewappen übernommen. Die Rosen stammen aus dem Wappen von Greffern. Es war im Jahre 1900 nach dem Gemeindesiegel des 19. Jahrhunderts gestaltet worden, in dem die Rosen als Verzierung verwendet sind. Wappen und Flagge wurden am 21. April 1975 vom Innenministerium verliehen. |
