Obschon der niederländische Künstler die an der Verschwörung Beteiligten wahrscheinlich weder jemals gesehen oder getroffen haben mag, ist dieses Bild zu einer populären Abbildung Guy Fawkes und seiner Mitverschwörer geworden.
