In de afbeelding op de Engelse Wiki (fair use en hier dus onbruikbaar) is daar een kruis Or te zien. Dat klopt wanneer wij Heim mogen geloven (en dat doe ik) niet.
Bijzonder is dat ook de Engelse katholieke aartsbisschoppen het pallium IN hun wapen plaatsen.Dat is een Engelse traditie die door de aartsbisschoppen van de anglicaanse en Roomse kerk wordt gevolgd.Het is in strijd met de katholieke heraldische regels.
Een wapenschild waarin het wapen van de katholieke aartsdiocese gepaald is met het eigen wapen van de aartsbisschop is in strijd met het Engelse heraldieke recht. De katholieke kerk bemoeit zich niet met het schild zelf en wast de handen in onschuld.
