<a href="http://www.morechickenandtuna.net">www.morechickenandtuna.net</a> 37/365 Last night I was walking in to the extra bedroom to put away some wrapping paper and other holiday items I purchased. I had a pile of stuff in my arms and as a result, I tripped over a foot long iron piggy-bank we use as a door stop. I kicked that thing HARD. Apparently I made a noise such that my husband thought it was a cat howling. The pig snout hit me right in the middle of my foot where all those little toe bones come together. (I didn't even notice the bruise near my big toe until this morning.) Oh, the pain. I don't know that I've ever injured this part of my foot before. I barely slept last night due to the pain. I wore a loose pair of slip-on shoes and spent half the day at work with that shoe off, foot throbbing and distracting me. The hot shower I took earlier did help a lot. It STILL hurts bad. Lessening though. |
