DescriptionNepthys.svg
English: Nephthys (Greek: Νέφθυς) or Nebthet or Neber-Het was a goddess in ancient Egyptian religion. A member of the Great Ennead of Heliopolis in Egyptian mythology, she was a daughter of Nut and Geb. Nephthys was typically paired with her sister Isis in funerary rites because of their role as protectors of the mummy and the god Osiris and as the sister-wife of Set.

Based on Traunecker 2001, p. 52, Wilkinson 2003 passim, & the discussion at Jeff Dahl's en-wiki talk page, I'm replacing all goddesses' was staffs with papyrus except in the cases mentioned or shown in Wilkinson.
