| Description |
English: Fluorescent microscopy of photosymbiotic acantharian hosting Phaeocystis symbionts. Red fluorescence is chlorophyll autofluorescence and allows observation of the altered morphology of Phaeocystis chloroplasts. Green fluorescence corresponds to LysoTracker dye which stains digestive compartments. Symbionts are not being digested. |
