Summary
| Description | The self-guided tour at the Hermitage is well designed. Individuals are issued a set of headphones and a mp3 player. Each area of interest on the estate is numbered; thus, when a person is at a particular point of interest one only needs to enter the number into her/his player to receive information. This allows the visitor to skip any information or area she/she chooses. This is in contrast to similar tours which force visitors to take the entire tour in order to hear all of the information. |
