| Description |
English: Picture of Trimeresurus mayaae sp. nov. holotype male NCBS NRC-AA-0012, captured by Hmar Tlawmte Lalremsanga. The holotype specimen was collected at dusk at around 17:15 h, found on the ground of a homestead garden at Bethel Veng, Champhai, Mizoram (23.4758959 N, 93.33401 E; altitude 1418 m a.s.l.). The specimen was collected on 24 October, 2020 by P. S. Muanga, H. T. Lalremsanga, Lal Muansanga and Lal Biakzuala, and registered at NCBS. |
