Summary
DescriptionWoodlice in tree bark.jpg |
Description: genus Isopoda - sub genus Oniscidea, sp ? fr: cloporte Photo of woodlice in pear tree bark. I do not know the exact species. The photo was taken in the north of England. Edit: Remove this picture from the Oniscus asellus page. This is mostly Porcellio scaber (almost certain). The middle and lower big isopods on the picture are Porcellio scaber, the upper big isopod is (probably) Oniscus asellus. The 2 smaller ones are hard to identify. Oniscus asellus looks like this: http://perso.orange.fr/zenza/cloportes/oniscus.html , has bright spots at the edge of the body and rows of yellow dots. Porcellio scaber is mostly grey and looks like this: http://perso.orange.fr/zenza/cloportes/porcellio.html |
