KidzSearch Encyclopedia:Reverting
Reverting is where you re-vert an article; usually because of vandalism. However, reverting too much is bad. Please, think before you revert. If it's really no big deal(like a typo), fix it yourself. It's much easier that way!
How to revert
- Go to the tab marked "history".
- Click on the date and time to preview that revision.
- Click "Change This Page" at the top of the page.
- Add an edit summary saying that they page was reverted and why it was reverted or what version it was reverted to.
- Save the page.
- Done.
When to revert
A good rule of thumb is that if "there's no vandalism or other hurt, you shouldn't revert". Sometimes, you have to ignore it. When in doubt, go to the article's talk page.
