Roland Krueger

Roland Matthias Christian Krueger, (born September 30, 1965), is a Businessman and Industrial Designer. He was the Chief Executive Officer of the Dyson Group of Companies and is currently Board Member of the Dyson family office, Weybourne Holdings, Member of the Supervisory Board of PUMA SE, the german sportswear company  and Member of the Board of ELEMENT Materials Technology, a Temasek owned company..[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]

Career

He began his career as an automotive designer at Mitsubishi Motors and later joined the initial team for the smart car project. After earning an MBA from INSEAD in 1998, he transitioned to management. In 2020, he became the CEO and Board Member of Dyson, having joined the company in 2019.[9]

Before joining Dyson, he was Chairman and Global President of INFINITI Motor Company (the luxury brand of Nissan)[10]and corporate officer of Nissan Motor Corporation from 2015 to 2019. [11]

Prior to leading INFINITI, he worked at the BMW Group for 15 years.[12] He eventually rose to the role of Senior Vice President within the company.[13][9][14]

He joined the supervisory board of Puma SE in 2024 and is Board Member of ELEMENT Materials Technology since 2025..[15][16][17]

Exploration

Roland is the first German national to ski to the geographic South Pole “solo” across the Antarctic continent in 2013.[18][19][20][21]

In 2017, he was honored by the Explorers Club in New York, USA, for his polar exploration achievements. He's one of the very few people to ski to the geographic South Pole twice without assistance, in 2013 and 2005. He also crossed the Greenland Ice Shield on skis in 2002.[22][2]

And in 2025 he pioneered a previously unexplored route through the Queen Maud Mountains in East Antarctica.[23]

  • Proposed extensions to Melbourne's railway network

  • A plan for a cut-and-cover tunnel was replaced with a deeper mined tunnel in order to avoid disruptions to Swanston Street, Melbourne's main civic spine and busiest tram corridor.

  • Melbourne's City Square, which has been demolished for construction of Town Hall station

  • Acoustic shed at Anzac station in the domain precinct. Acoustic sheds were installed at Metro Tunnel station precincts to reduce noise and dust.
