When to use

Only add this template to an article, if the relevant last.fm page provides useful supplementary information, that isn't already included in the article or the other external links.

Do not add it if the link currently leads to the equivalent of a stub entry, or just a bare placeholder.

Usage

or (if the article's title is the same as the title of the artist itself):
