Fattail scorpion

Fattail scorpion (or fat-tailed scorpion) is the main name given to scorpions from the genus Androctonus. Androctonus is one of the most dangerous groups of scorpion species in the world. They live in the semi-arid and arid regions of Africa and the Middle East. They are a moderate-sized scorpion. They have lengths of near 4 inches.

Geographic range

The fat-tailed scorpion is seen widely in Armenia, Turkey, Morocco, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Israel. Many countries nearby also see the fat-tailed scorpion.
