Bitdefender is a multinational Romanian cybersecurity and anti-virus software company.[1] It was created on 6 November 2001 by Florin Talpeș who is currently the chief executive officer of the company.[2] Bitdefender creates and sells cybersecurity products and services.
In 2018, the software had about 500 million users worldwide.[3]
