KidzSearch Encyclopedia:General disclaimer

This KidzSearch Encyclopedia is based on a special version of Wikipedia called Simple English Wikipedia. We import the content on a regular basis and then add/edit/remove content to make it safe for schools to use, such as removing adult text and images that may have appeared.

We simply don't have the resources to fact check each article ourselves and rely on the general public to keep Simple Wikipedia current and accurate. Please note that even though it is based on a well respected online source (Simple English Wikipedia), that source was still edited by anyone who wants to help and could have errors in it. Always double check what you read on your own to make sure it is accurate. Whenever possible, footnotes are provided by the articles so you can read the original documents used to produce it and verify everything is correct. KidzSearch is not responsible for any inaccurate material.
