Richard Springthorpe (born August 23, 1949), known better by his stage name Rick Springfield, is an Australian musician and actor. He became popular in the 1980s thanks to a string of hit songs including "Jessie's Girl",^[1] and a recurring role on the TV show, General Hospital.
