TriMet
TriMet is the transit system in Portland Oregon. It was formed in 1969, and has since become the primary transit provider in the Portland Metropolitan Area.
Service
TriMet has 3 main modes of transit[1]
- Bus service: 85 local, express, and bus rapid transit lines.
- Light rail: 5 MAX light rail lines.
- Commuter rail: the WES commuter rail line.
TriMet also runs a paratransit service called "LIFT".[2]
TriMet Media
TriMet operates a light rail system (MAX Light Rail), the Portland Streetcar, and a commuter rail line (WES Commuter Rail).
TriMet's first paint scheme was this orange and white, worn by all vehicles from 1971 until 1980 and by a portion of the fleet (the oldest buses) until 1991.
