TriMet is the transit system in Portland Oregon. It was formed in 1969, and has since become the primary transit provider in the Portland Metropolitan Area.
Service
TriMet has 3 main modes of transit[1]
- Bus service: 85 local, express, and bus rapid transit lines.
- Light rail: 5 MAX light rail lines.
- Commuter rail: the WES commuter rail line.
TriMet also runs a paratransit service called "LIFT".[2]

In early 2019, TriMet introduced a new paint scheme, the first such change since 2002. It is seen here on Gillig BRT-model bus 3913.
